• Our goal is for players to improve their skills, compete, and have fun by teaching fundamental skills (ball handling, footwork, passing, shooting, defense and rebounding) while learning team offense and defense concepts.

• Emphasis on player improvement on and off the court! Our goal is to help players development positive values such as teamwork, work ethic, sportsmanship and character! We emphasize team over, individual and character above winning!

  Our coaches strive to create a positive environment for all players to grow and support one another.

Players can join throughout the season if there is space on the team and they are good fit for the current team. We try to keep our rosters at 8 players to maximize playing time and remaining competitive. New and interested players are encouraged to attend a practice session for an evaluation by one of our coaches. There is no financial obligation or commitment needed to attend a practice. This informal assessment helps determine if there’s a good fit within the team structure and competitive level. 

We encourage players to be involved in other activities—well-rounded experiences are important. However, select basketball requires a higher level of commitment to build team chemistry and compete effectively. One additional activity is usually manageable, but when multiple commitments—like recitals, scouts, or social events—regularly take priority, it shifts the team toward a recreational feel. If basketball won’t be your player’s top extracurricular, please consider whether consistent attendance at practices and games is realistic.
