Our competitive Surge Basketball teams participate in development leagues and tournaments throughout the fall, winter, and spring seasons, competing in communities such as Tacoma, Seattle, Port Angeles, and surrounding areas.
Surge is designed for athletes seeking a higher level of competition and development than traditional recreational programs provide. Our goal is to help players grow as basketball players while preparing them for future opportunities at the middle school, high school, and beyond.
More than just basketball, Surge is committed to creating a positive and encouraging environment where athletes can develop their skills, build confidence, and learn the value of teamwork. We emphasize character, sportsmanship, discipline, and hard work, helping players succeed both on and off the court.
TEAM EVALUATION
If your athlete enjoys playing and wants to be challenged in a positive, competitive environment, Surge may be a great fit! Interested players are encouraged to attend a practice session for an evaluation by one of our coaches. Evaluations help determine the best team placement based on a player’s current skill level, experience, and developmental needs.
Players can join a team at any point during the season if space is available. Teams are usually being formed at the beginning of the fall, winter and spring seasons.
