2021 All-Star Results

Team Black proved best during Thursday’s 19th West Sound Senior High School All-Star Basketball doubleheader at Bremerton High School. The annual gathering features top seniors from programs around the region.

In the girls opener, Port Angeles’ Millie Long finished with 25 points and sealed Team Black’s 60-58 victory with a steal and layup with 12 seconds to play. Long earned Olympic League most valuable player honors for Port Angeles this season after leading the Roughriders to a 14-0 record. Sequim’s Jayla Julmist led Team Red with 19 points. 

South Kitsap’s Areeza Amian won the girls hot shot competition, while Kingston’s Kylee Walker topped Buccaneers teammate Suzanne Skinner in the 3-point competition, sinking 11 shots.

In the boys game, Bainbridge’s Andrew Ward finished with 25 points as Team Black prevailed over Team Red 114-103. Bainbridge’s Jacob Kirsch edged Spartans teammate Alan Ulin in the hot shot competition, while Bremerton’s Caleb Washington made 12 shots to win the 3-point competition.
